Paolo Arao (b. 1977) received his BFA in painting and printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1999 and was a participant at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in 2000. His work has been included in exhibitions at The Drawing Center (New York, NY), SculptureCenter (LIC, NY), Socrates Sculpture Park (LIC, NY), Madder 139 (London, UK), and the Bronx Museum for the Arts (Bronx, NY.)
